6 x 9" ProDec Medium Pile Roller Sleeves

This is a 6 roller pack, ideal as a bulk pack for trade professionals or for larger DIY projects, featuring 5 medium pile and 1 long pile. With a distinctive tiger stripe pattern, these are ProDec's most popular rollers used by the trade with emulsion and masonry paints due to their excellent balance of performance and value for money. Giving a trade quality finish, they pick up plenty of paint without over-loading, enabling you to effortlessly power through large areas such as walls and ceilings, with even paint application for efficiency and excellent coverage to minimise the number of coats required. The fabric is machine woven, giving the fibres a double anchor with low lint and excellent durability, standing up to heavy duty use and washing out well after use, enabling the rollers to be reused time after time.

The 12mm (0.5") medium pile is suitable for interior emulsion paints (eg. matt, silk, eggshell) on smooth surfaces such as plaster, drywall, ceilings (including light to medium textured plasters such as artex) and masonry paints on semi-smooth surfaces such as brick.

The 18mm (0.75") long pile is suitable for masonry paints on semi-rough and rough surfaces such as brick, breeze block, cement and render, where the longer pile is effective at getting into the surface texture, as well as emulsion paints on walls and ceilings (including medium to heavily textured plasters) although it won't give quite as good a finish on smooth surfaces as the medium pile.

As both piles lay down plenty of paint they are suitable for colour changes both similar to the previous one and more substantial such as light to dark or vice-versa (the opacity/covering power of the paint is of course critical as well).

These rollers are 9" (225mm) width, which is ideal for walls and ceilings. They have a 1.75" (44mm) trade diameter core, so ensure you have a compatible 1.75" diameter cage roller frame.
