PAALV40-Rodo - 5m Green Aluminium Oxide - 40 Grit Aluminium oxide is the abrasive paper of choice used by trade professionals in preference to sandpaper. The aluminium oxide grains are more durable, have a self-sharpening action and clog less, giving high performance sanding that outlasts sandpaper by up to 10 times. It's ideal both for hand sanding - with or without a sanding block - and machine sanding: at 115mm wide the roll is the standard width for power tools. The E-weight backing paper used in ProDec aluminium oxide is highly flexible and crack resistant so it withstands being creased and folded, making it ideal for sanding contoured or shaped surfaces, as well as being easy to cut for power tool use. 40 grit Extra Coarse grade For the toughest jobs, such as stripping very rough or built-up surfaces with several layers of paint or varnish. This grade gives aggressive abrasion so reserve it for the most difficult tasks.
