The Silk Touch is a roller for fine finishing. It features a unique fabric, with fibres finer than silk, that leaves mimimal texture. When painting with it, you'll experience very little spatter, so you and the surrounding area won't end up covered in paint. The density of fibres in the fabric is very high. In addition, each fibre has been structured to hold a large amount of paint yet release it evenly onto the surface you're painting. As a result, you can cover a large surface area each time you load the Silk Touch roller. During production, yarn is meticulously woven so the fibres won't shed. Then, instead of being stuck on with adhesive, the finished fabric is fused to its core with heat, preventing it from unwinding, even when subject to regular, heavy use. The core is made of durable polypropylene, which withstands rigorous everyday use. It provides even, sturdy support for optimal roller-to-surface contact. After use, the roller is easy to clean, and its fibres will retain their shape, ensuring consistently good performance, job after job.
