It is 20% softer than Ox-hair with the added durability of duponts solid round tapered synthetic filaments for a superior finish. Syntox is totally shed resistant and will last at at least five times longer than ox-hair brushes. Even more importantly, the syntox brushes can be used in water or solvent based clear finishes. THATS RIGHT, you now have a brush that is specifically made to be used waterborne stains, varnishes and polyurethanes.
